I now have a square format camera. I took it into the city and started shooting. This is one of the first photographs that came out of it. I feel it has a dark mood, and I kinda feel most of my photographs of lately have been. this is my first upload in maybe a year. It's been a sad long time.
Wow, I have not heard from you in quite a while, but here you are again!
I like this shot, because it feels like you are there because of the darkness and the reflection.. This is the sort of image that is very hard to capture on film...
Square camera? That's cool, I like square shots!
Nice job, great to see you back
oh wow!! this is truely an aswsome piece. The guy looks very deep in thought and has a very hopeful look about him. well not hopeful but wishfull if that makes sense. and the lady in at the top looks as if she is hanging her head so this kinda adds to the meaning of the photo. and the moving buildings adds to it all as well. I think that everything in the photo is very clear but the lady at the top looks kinda grainy (i think thats how you explain it) but other that very well done
Well you're looking at the back of her head, you're seeing her hair. It's a medium format shot so its hard to get any grain.
Thanks for the comment, insightfull. Im happy you find it so enticing.

This photo feels like two worlds seperated by that glass...
The Blurry yet intense lights of the city Contrast greatly with teh drab, and rather unactive people in transit. With teh man looking out, it seems like each world is unattainable by either side. A Simple reflection, but a thought provoking photo.
Wow, what a great photo, I have nothing critical to say about it. I love the atmosphere it has, the commuters on a train with the glitzy lights of the city, the world whirling by so quickly and yet it's got a kind of timeless, quiet and meditative quality to it...if that makes any sense. It's also like they're frozen behind glass, worlds away from us the viewer. It's a really beautiful and intelligent shot.

wowo great photo, glad it lacks the odd quality the sky has in # 2 the man seems so reflective (not just in a physical sense)you captured his mood so effectively and in a very creative manner
